Teleprompter Studio PRO does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, or analytics.

Local Data Storage

All data created or used by the App is stored locally on your device:

  • User Preferences: App settings (font size, colors, speed, etc.) are stored locally using macOS UserDefaults
  • Session Data: Your teleprompter sessions and scripts are saved only where you choose to save them
  • Audio Recordings: Recorded audio files are saved to locations you specify on your Mac
  • Profiles: Custom playback profiles are stored locally in the app's container

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

App Permissions

The App may request the following permissions:

Microphone Access

Purpose: To record audio during teleprompter playback for voice-over recordings. Only activated when you explicitly start audio recording. This permission is optional.

File System Access

Purpose: To open, import, and save documents and audio recordings. Access is granted only to files and folders you explicitly select.

Third-Party Services

Apple App Store & StoreKit: If you purchase a subscription, the transaction is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or tracking services.

Analytics and Tracking

No Analytics or Tracking

We do not use any analytics, telemetry, or tracking technologies. Your usage patterns remain completely private.

Offline Functionality

Teleprompter Studio PRO works entirely offline. No internet connection is required except for:

  • Initial download from the Mac App Store
  • App updates from the Mac App Store
  • Subscription verification (handled by Apple)

Data Security

Since all data remains on your device, its security is protected by:

  • macOS built-in security features
  • App Sandbox technology (isolated environment)
  • Your device's encryption and security settings
  • Hardened Runtime (code signing and validation)

Children's Privacy

Our App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we do not collect any data, there is no risk of collecting children's personal information.
